Software QA Tester

Global Edge Software Ltd is looking for a dedicated Software QA tester that will be in charge of planning and executing test strategies to improve the usability of our products.

The Software QA tester collaborates with the development team to debug code, rectify errors, and troubleshoot any software code issues.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
• Executing tests on software usability
• Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems
• Run manual and automated tests
• Test in different environments including web and mobile
• Provide objective feedback to software development project teams
• Work on multiple projects at one time

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies
• 2 years’ experience in QA testing
• Good team working and detail-oriented mindset
• Good organizational and critical thinking skills
